I made my own wrap out of a sheet. Just cut it in half and sewed it together and it's PERFECT! I've used it plenty of times, usually no more than an hour at a time though. I've wore my baby plenty ways, except nursing :'(. We had already quit by the time I realized I needed one :-(.

Great list!

My order of favourites would be:
Becco -just love it. Not great for nursing in but love love love it. Really.
Ring Sling- I love how it's adjustable and fits me when I'm changing sizes and no matter what I'm wearing (tank top-down jacket). A ring sling like other carriers takes practice but I find it the most versatile.
Pouch- I really only like the pouch when my son was an infant. I can't stand that they have to be fitted right to work.

I don't have a wrap and was turned off of long straps when I had a mei tei, especially when my child is in the stage of wanting up, down, up, down... I would have tried one though if it weren't for the cost, especially after your high praise and seeing you use it.

I could not survive without my ring sling! :) Wraps still feel like a lot of work to me, to get all the fabric on and comfortable. Maybe I'm a lazy babywearer? But there are so many pretty wraps out there. Maybe someday I'll branch out.
