Cauliflower “popcorn”

I found this Recipe somewhere on the net a while back but I don’t remember where…

It is really simple though and the result is a great snack (or side dish) that my kids seem to love!

1 Head Cauliflower cut in small peices

3-4 tsp of oil

sprinkle of salt

In a bowl toss it all together and then spread on a baking sheet and place in a preheated 400 degree oven for about an hour…. toss it a bit about every 15 min…

That’s it!!

the cauliflower browns beautifully and the more it browns the sweeter it is…it is so tasty!!

Yum! Not unlike my cauliflower soup. Just add a potato and onion to roast and then blend with stock. Mmmmm…. I love cauliflower……

Paxye, I’ve been meaning to make this since I first saw you post it and finally, today, right now, it’s in my oven. It smells so good in here! I sprinkled Parmesan cheese on mine. I can’t wait until it’s done! I don’t think there will be any leftover. Thanks for posting this!

It was so good! I ate all of it, right then and there- it was a fantastic late lunch. I am totally buying more cauliflower this week at the store. I’ve always liked cauliflower but I don’t like eating it raw and breaded and fried or covered in cheese sauce just doesn’t work anymore. ;) Now I have a great way to enjoy it that I don’t have to feel guilty about. Thanks again!
