First Snowy day…

Here is looking out my Kitchen Window when I woke up…

a few inches and it hasn’t stopped falling since…

We had breakfast… played around at the kitchen table for a while with modeling beeswax and crayons and then the boys wanted to go play outside… and they stayed there for almost 2 hours…

They played and built things and slid down the stairs on the flying saucer… even though it was a bit “bumpy”…

I just love seeing the kids play outside like that… just having fun…

When they came back in I made some hot Cocoa and put on a movie…

I love these kind of snowy days…

(and yes, Khéna looks tired in the last pics… he fell asleep soon after and is sleeping on me as a write this)

Wow! Beautiful photos! Looks like everyone is having a great time. I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area – no snow here. I guess the grass is always greener.

Looks like so much fun! I kinda miss the snow now. We live in Houston, so there won’t be any….LOL :-)

    Thanks!
I really like the snow… well for a few months… then I start complaining because I am tired of it… lol

LOL…That’s how I was when we were in Denver…and especially in upstate NY. It’s fun, but it really comes down there. The main time I really miss it is on Christmas. It just does not seem like Christmas when there is no snow on the ground. One year in Denver, we got 4 feet (very rare there) and the kids loved it. The dog was digging them paths and retrieving things they threw into the snow…LOL

I love the pictures! I don’t miss the snow though. I like the fact that we get a few days a year here and that’s it. Gives me my fix without overdoing it. ;)
