I so totally agree. With my first, the hospital where I got my prenatal care had a "policy" of not letting any pregnancy go beyond forty-two weeks. My induced-labor experience played a big part in my choice to birth my second at home.

I'm SO looking forward to hearing all about your new baby and his/her birth! I'm rooting for you!

I could not agree with you more. Though I was a bit out of the norm. My water broke (at work) 10 days before my due date. I waited until the last possible second to go to the hospital (b/c I didn't want to be strapped to the bed) and I delievered my daughter 4 hours after getting to the hospital. I was determined to go drug free and I DID! Though the first thing they said to me when I got there was the doctor had already okayed an epi! When I tell people I labored without any drugs, they look at me like I'm crazy. But, it was the best experience I had and I can't wait to do it again.

Good luck with this labor!
