Xavier is turning 6!!
In two days Xavier is going to be 6…
I remember thinking about him turning 6 when he was small… Thinking 5 years ahead when he was still a small little one… when we were still living in Montreal… when he was our only child….
6 years is not that long but it is hard at times to remember life before him…
We had his party yesterday and though it rained… and poured… it turned out to be a great day… with great friends and lots of laughter and sharing…
The kids all had a great time and the food was good…’
The boys made decorations the day before…
the kids playing in the playroom…. the were spies….
eating outside… just before the rain came… and boy did it come!!
bbq in the rain… we brought the picnic table into the living room…
Birthday Cake…
double layer homemade chocolate cake with chocolate cheesecake frosting topped with fresh local strawberries and carob chips (as requested by the birthday boy)…
and gifts…
and Nintendo DS for the trip!!!

What a great time it must have been!!
It’s amazing how fast they grow up. Maia turns 6 next month.
Happy Birthday to Xavier. It’s crazy to think that six years have passed. It seems like just the other day when I received an e-mail with Xavier’s very first baby pictures in it!
